Basil Alkazzi
Basil Alkazzi’s distinguished career as an artist spans five decades. His paintings are in the collections of: the Metropolitan Museum of Art NY; Neuberger Museum of Art, NY; Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City; Hirschhorn Museum, Washington DC; Chicago Art Institute, Chicago; Santa Barbara Museum of Art; San Antonio Museum of Art; Dayton; Art Institute, Dayton; Tel-Aviv Museum of Art, Israel; National Museum in Gdansk, Poland and the Royal College of Art collection, amongst many others.
He established the Basil Alkazzi Scholarship in 1986, and more recently the Ali Alkazzi Scholarship.
He was conferred Senior Fellow of the RCA in 2005.
