Animators in Conversation: Self / Society / Family
Students discuss their films

Andi Concha, Joumana Ismail, Wu-Ching Chang, Richard Noble and Duncan Senkumba will reveal how their animated films depict families or deal with their own sensitive family relationships. We will explore how this range of projects use various visual and narrative devices to illuminate the tensions of intergenerational and social change on personal experience, family dynamics and how we start to understand ourselves in relation to our childhood memories and ancestry.
