Jan Rose has academic training in Industrial Design, and follows a highly sculptural approach within furniture and spatial design. Materiality, experimentation and narrative are the driving forces within every project.

As Creative Director of Studio Toogood, he works regularly with brands such as Hermès and Comme des Garçons, museums like the V&A and the Cooper-Hewitt, as well as galleries in New York, Tokyo and Milan.
