WITH ZOWIE BROACH DISCUSSING HIS SEMINAL FILM TIMECODE, AND IT'S UNCANNY REFLECTION OF OUR CURRENT DIGITAL AESTHETIC...
TALK LIVE: RCA : 2020
"I met Mike Figgis in about 2006 when we worked together for the first time. He remains a friend and mentor. He directed Leaving Las Vegas (1995), interviewed David Lynch for Inland Empire ( 2006 ), espied the Dalai Lama watching Jeopardy, directed the Jeremy Deller film The Battle of Orgreave, worked and learnt with ‘Billy’ Forsthye, directed Lucrezia Borgia for the ENO, designed a card game for Dramatic Situations for Film, a total geek about machines about sound and vision and he is now in the middle of finishing a documentary on The People Band whom he has played with since he was eighteen."
