Chris O'Reilly is co-founder and ECD of Nexus Studios, an Oscar and Emmy nominated and BAFTA winning production company and animation studio. Shona Collins is Senior Development Producer in the Nexus Studios Original Content team. Prior to joining Nexus Studios, Shona was Senior Creative Executive at Pathé and Story Editor at the British Film Institute. Fx Goby is a director at Nexus Studios who received international acclaim for Back To The Moon, a sweet animated tribute to Georges Méliès in VR and AR which earned him an Emmy and three Annie Award nominations. His animated adaptation of Jack London’s To Build a Fire novel has garnered dozens of awards and qualified for the Oscars and BAFTAs in 2017.
Based in London, Sydney and LA, Nexus Studios creates work in film and entertainment as well as immersive and innovative real-time storytelling. Nexus Studios champions independent talent across multiple forms. Current Nexus Studios productions include a stop frame animated three-part film with directors Niki Lindroth Von Bahr, Marc Roels & Emma de Swaef and Paloma Baeza in partnership with Netflix, while the interactive division creates immersive experiences for the likes of Google, Samsung and CERN featuring high-profile names such as Childish Gambino, Obama and Tilda Swinton.
