Discussion from alternate realities and historic narratives to the ontology of the photograph.

Shir Raz, Daniel John Bracken, Gülce Tulçalı, and Thomas Moen will discuss the nature of objects in relation to their practices, photography, and contemporary art. The discussion will touch upon various interrelated topics; from alternate realities and historic narratives, the ontology of the photograph, spectation and its association with memory, to the dualities of the veil and the fine point between the photograph and the object. The discussion will be moderated by the artist and researcher Maeve Brennan.
