The United Generations: Project Presentation

MA Interior Design graduate Adalberto Lonardi will talk about why the project started, how he developed it and he will take you on a journey into Arcadia in a conversation with Jenny Jones. At the end there will be a space for an open discussion with Q&A.

The United Generations project proposes a new fulfilling vision to create a thriving community of all ages and celebrate the advantages of shared resources. Integrated solutions like harvesting, renewable energy, local production, and smart homes allow sustainable living to be a seamless part of everyday life.

Adalberto Lonardi is an Italian designer with a passion for Architecture, Visual Communication, and the Social Environment. His fields of interest span across children's and adults' education, social integration, and community empowerment.

Jenny Jones is a Scottish Architect. Educated in the UK, USA and France, she now runs her Studio from London. Her work is recognised for a sensitive approach to both new works and those working with existing structures. Marrying rigorous contextual and cultural analysis with a consideration of the sensorial impact of the work. Alongside her design practice she has taught at the Royal College of Art, London, the Architectural Association and the Edinburgh School of Architecture.
