Design As Catalyst

About

Tutors: Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad & Gian Luca Amadei

Design as Catalyst (DaC) considers the contemporary world as a series of complex, networked and often contradictory assemblies.

The platform considers itself material and technology agnostic and so works across multiple disciplines and scales, from zoology to acoustics and beyond.

The principal aim of this platform is to critically respond to emerging and contemporary issues, where observation, social engagement and co-creation are the key approaches with which the designer/researchers begin to craft their own futures.
