Painting (MA)

My recent works are made using small interventions and slight variations with basic materials (wood, fixings and paint). These wall-based structures are influenced by a myriad of images, drawings, photographs and texts gathered in an ongoing body of research.

Currently and throughout lockdown, I have had a pre-occupation with circular or part-circular shapes and motifs. Recent drawings and finished works relate to notions of movement, activity, space (clock faces, life cycles, public architectural space) and mechanics (cogs, drives, bicycle wheels, movement of industrial parts).
