In the early months of 2020, I experienced the Lockdown during the Covid 19 pandemic the same as everyone. The influence of the media messages has never been so strong. Rethinking my learning routine, communication method and responsibility of life had become the most important experience for me. To keep healthy, keep in touch with friends was vital, and declarative.

THE COMBINATION

All of us have our dreams to reassure us. Architecture is a stage set where we need to be at ease in order to perform. Fearing ourselves, we need our illusions to protect us, even if the protection takes the form of finals and cartouches, Corinthian columns and acanthus leaves. (J.G. Ballard, A Handful of Dust, 2006)

‘Demolition Archive’ bookbinding

the fragment of 'Demolition Archive'

In 2015, the documentary The Chinese Mayor talked about the person who operated the demolishing and rebuilding project in Datong, China. The documentary is a Biographies, The filmmaker had picked up the interviewers and it was well edited. It's not the best reference for knowing about the demolishing process as an architectural work. The research of my project is from asking for the routines from demolishing companies and the people who are working with getting in touch with people who are leaving from the old buildings. The book shows the images were cut by the lines of the buildings, street views, and stones.

The banner uses the very powerful optimistic word to imply the working process will finish soon. If there is an explanation, it means nice work. The order of vocabulary placement will cause the points emphasized in this sentence to be different, which is used in the banner. From the banner language, the verb is placed at the front is more like an action instruction, but this instruction is difficult to achieve, just slogan. Be alert to language in daily life, but watching too much will make me overly alert. This is a physiological response.
