Painting (MA)

I consider painting as an in-between space that is about interiority and exteriority. It is a fold of my empathy, and compassion for the surroundings that provoked myself, as an artist, to balance the discomfort, and comfort while creating.

I enjoy collaging physical materials onto the surface so it evokes a tension between myself and the surface, in which painting becomes more than a surface that contains forms, but also gestural, and tactile visually. I invent and abandon forms at the same time by paint and paper; so it is the passage from one polarity to another that is experienced as a kinetic force that moves things. The painting becomes an “organic whole” Within this “organic whole,” there is a state of the playfulness of materials, vectors, and surfaces that allow forms cohere to each other; in which transform the image into an inward and outward vehicle for the viewers.

within this organic mixture of paper, paint, chalk, and lines, the image resolved into my integrations from observations of history, and contemporary world that references to implosions, shifts of gear, accelerations, appropriation, and striation.
