SustainLab Presents: Tipping Points

SustainLab is a Students’ Union society set up in 2016 as a platform for recognising the importance of maintaining a dedicated space for sustainability, The society supports, champions and nurtures the artists and designers of the future in developing a critical sustainable mindset.

Through a series of workshops and open crits SustainLab provides a space to make, debate and ponder on the relations between an art practice and impacts on the environment. During 2019–20 SustainLab hosted a broad range of events from bio-materials workshops, crits, social events, exhibitions and panel discussions. We are delighted to reflect on the past academic year by curating this collection which showcases works from members of the society and beyond around present and future creative sustainable solutions.
