From this moment, I am sharing my space with you. As I continue, I am filling in this space with words. In the meantime, we might be reading in different speed or rhythm. I may stop now but you might keep going. We might even come across the same thing. But we both know that we will be reaching for an end and that it ends in the same word then to a letter. I am interested in such ideas.
Shared thinking, shared emotion and collective motion are what I think about the most. As thoughts become words, words are then shared, every letter wears in age, it bends and it travels. Words become materialized, as if language was tactile and approachable. Like vessels, airships..
I investigate such ideas, through motions of gathering and dispersing or forming and breaking. All starts from a piece of material, like a piece of aluminum or sliced piece of wax in my hand. I explore my materials as a way to bridge distance and shared space, image and weight. There is always the sense of piercing through space that ends up here or there. And the works are, hopefully, going somewhere.
