Womenswear

I often find myself in a strange space between the familiar and the unfamiliar. It’s difficult for me to integrate into a new place. Having moved a lot, I am familiar with this unfamiliar feeling. The sense of belonging of strangers is the feeling I am exploring in my work. Different people have a different sense of identity in different regional cultures.

I want to make garments that can be defined by the wearer themselves, that the wearer can participate in the design process of which, to give the wearer some space to play with my work. In my mind, designers' role in society is to create a framework, within which consumers can create. Rethinking the traditional relationship between designer and wearer is my goal.
